Position Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Senior Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in a sophisticated and fast-paced renewable energy and corporate transactional practice. This is a critical role requiring a seasoned legal professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic practice where urgent projects can arise unexpectedly and require immediate attention. This individual must be comfortable balancing ongoing attorney support responsibilities while providing high-level assistance on complex corporate and transactional matters. Comfortable wearing different hats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support multiple attorneys.
  • Assist with renewable energy, corporate, and transactional legal matters.
  • Draft, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, agreements, correspondence, and closing materials.
  • Perform document comparisons and manage complex redlining projects.
  • Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, meetings, deadlines, and appointments.
  • Prepare and organize transaction-related documents and closing binders.
  • Track and manage critical project timelines and deliverables.
  • Enter and maintain billable time accurately and efficiently.
  • Support attorneys with special projects and time-sensitive assignments.
  • Prioritize urgent requests and adjust workloads as business needs change.
  • Maintain electronic files and ensure document management best practices are followed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 10 years of paralegal experience.
  • Strong background in:
    • Corporate Law
    • Transactional Law
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Document redlining and version comparisons
    • Calendar and deadline management
    • Time entry and billable work tracking

Preferred

  • Experience in a law firm environment supporting corporate and energy practices.
  • Experience assisting with complex transactions and large-scale projects.
  • Prior experience in a role with substantial billable work responsibilities.
